The riding center is located in the west of Ireland, about 45 minutes from Galway and close to the beautiful Burren region. The farm is surrounded by wide, lush pastures, rustic forests, and rolling hills. There, far away from the stress of city life, it is quiet and peaceful. An ideal place to indulge your passion for horses: Whether you want to learn to ride, practice horsemanship, or simply experience the beautiful Irish countryside on wonderful rides, the riding center in Galway has the right program for everyone!

The farm is located on the edge of the Kylebrack Woods and the Slieve Aughty Mountains, which offer beautiful and picturesque rides. You can ride new routes every day.

Riding holidays:
This is a great option for those who want to focus on improving their riding skills in the arena while enjoying a relaxing time on horseback exploring the remote Irish countryside. Suitable for all riding levels, including beginners. The riding week includes 6 days of riding with 1 riding lesson or horsemanship and a 1-hour trail ride per day, as well as the option of a full-day trail ride (not suitable for beginners) or a donkey trek with picnic on one day of the week. With a maximum of 8 guests, you will receive the care and attention you need to make your stay truly special.

Yoga & Horsemanship:
Enjoy a peaceful stay in our luxurious accommodation, ideal for yoga and horsemanship guests. Surrounded by nature, this is the perfect place to relax, get in touch with yourself, and enjoy outdoor activities. Relax in comfortable, beautifully designed rooms. This peaceful retreat offers everything you need for a restful and rejuvenating vacation. Start your day with a relaxing yoga session featuring long, held stretches and a calming meditation before breakfast. At midday, you can participate in a riding lesson. These sessions vary daily and offer a range of experiences from bareback riding to ground and riding work. You will also participate in lectures on communication techniques with horses and equine therapy, with each session designed to deepen your connection with the horses and promote personal growth. After a nutritious lunch, you will have time to relax, whether it be reading, strolling through the organic vegetable garden, or taking a peaceful walk in the woods. You can also help lead a horse for disabled riders, which is a rewarding experience. If you would like to spend more time with the horses, you can also book an additional ride in the countryside. There is always something meaningful to do, so you can create your perfect day. All meals are included in the price and are freshly prepared using ingredients from the organic garden, freshly sourced and locally sourced. Excursions
The area around the Slieve Aughty Mountains offers a wide range of leisure activities in beautiful natural surroundings. You can go cycling, golfing, hiking, or fishing, for example. And of course, Ireland has numerous sights that are well worth a visit. The farm's enchanting surroundings are ideal for a walk, so don't forget your camera. For our youngest guests, donkeys and ponies are available for hire. New additions include half-day and full-day donkey treks, allowing you to explore the mountains in depth.
On request, we can also organize excursions (1-2 days) to the world-famous Cliffs of Moher, the Aran Islands, the unique Burren region, or Connemara.

Accomodation

Guests are accommodated in double rooms with shower/toilet in the farm's guest house with adjoining organic restaurant, where high-quality produce from the farm's own organic garden or from the region is used. A total of 9 en-suite rooms are available to guests, including a family room for 4-6 people. Most are located on the second floor and have a balcony with a view of the beautiful rural surroundings. For guests who prefer a quieter and more private setting, accommodation is also available in a nearby eco-Lodge .

 

Saddle & Tack: English saddles for jumping, dressage saddles, western saddles on request. Riding helmets are compulsory. A body protector must also be worn for cross-country.

Experience: From beginner to experienced rider. Cross-country training only for experienced rider. Young people aged 13 and over also without adult supervision.

Horses: 30 ponies and horses: Irish hunter, Cobs and Connemaras, all very sweet and sociable.
