1. Data Privacy

Equitour AG/Equitour AG (hereinafter referred to as Equitour) collects and stores personal data in connection with a catalogue order, a travel booking and/or the wish to receive our newsletter. This is all information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person (and not to a legal entity such as a corporation).

As part of our commitment to protect your personal information in a transparent manner, we would like to inform you of the following:

4.2 Service providers We usually only pass on personal data to third parties in order to ensure the smooth processing of a trip you have booked, i.e. name, year of birth, height, weight and riding ability. This information enables us to make proper reservations for services such as hotel rooms etc. and to allocate suitable horses. The recipients named in section 4.2 above may also be domiciled outside Switzerland. In this case, Equitour requires that these recipients take appropriate measures to protect personal data, which are laid down in a binding legal agreement. A copy of these measures can be obtained from the Data Privacy Officer ("DPO") at the address given at the end of this Data Privacy Notice. 4.3 Other

In the event of the sale of our business to another company or the restructuring of our business, personal data will be passed on to enable you to continue to use our products and services. We may need to disclose personal information in order to exercise or defend legal rights, including our legal rights and the legal rights of our employees, or in response to requests from individuals or their representatives to protect their legal rights or the legal rights of others. 5 How long do we store your data? We will only store personal data for as long as is necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected or in accordance with legal, regulatory or internal requirements. To this end, we apply criteria to determine the reasonable periods for storing your personal data that depend on the purpose of the data, such as proper travel handling, facilitating client relationship management and responding to legal claims or regulatory requests. Your rights You have the right to request Equitour to correct any inaccurate personal data that we collect and process; you also have the right to request a limitation on the processing of your personal data as long as such a request is investigated. If we process your personal data with your consent, you have the right to revoke such consent at any time. Please also note that the revocation of your consent has no effect on the legality of the processing prior to the revocation, which took place with your consent. You have the right to ask us to stop processing your personal data or to delete your personal data; these rights are not unrestricted rights (as there may sometimes be overriding interests that require further processing), but we will examine your request and notify you of the outcome.

If personal data are processed for purposes of direct marketing (newsletter), your right to object also extends to direct marketing, insofar as the latter is connected with this marketing. If you wish to exercise your right to revoke direct marketing, please click on "unsubscribe" in one of our newsletters or contact us at the address in section 7. To exercise the above rights, please contact the DPO using the contact details listed in section 8 of this Privacy Policy.

If you are not satisfied with any aspect of the processing of your personal data by Equitour, we will be happy to discuss it with you in order to find a solution. You may exercise any of your rights in relation to your personal data by writing to one of the following addresses. In order to avoid any delay in processing your request, please enclose a copy of your passport or identity card with your signed letter: Equitour AG, DSB Diethard FRANZ, Herrenweg 60, CH-4123 Allschwil If you are not satisfied with the response of Equitour AG, you have the right to file a complaint with the Data Privacy Authority in the jurisdiction in which you live or work, or in the place where you believe that a problem with your data has arisen.

We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized or unlawful access to the personal information you have provided to us. Since no complete data security can be guaranteed for communication by e-mail, instant messaging or similar means of communication, we recommend that you choose a secure shipping alternative for particularly confidential information. 9. storage periods: As a general rule, Equitour stores personal data for the duration of your business relationship (your trip) or your contract with Equitour and then for a further 3 years. For purposes of direct marketing (newsletter), we store your address until your cancellation, but for a maximum of 10 years. Current or expected legal or supervisory proceedings may result in storage beyond this period.

Cookies / Google Analytics This website uses Blogger, a blogging tool that creates cookies (small temporary files) on your computer. The purpose of cookies is primarily to analyze the use of this website and to improve the user experience. This website uses Google Analytics, a web page analysis tool from Google. Google creates cookies which, among other things, transmit data such as your IP address to Google. Google uses this information to evaluate user behaviour on this website and creates a report about all users of this website for Equitour AG / Equitour AG. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data by Google and any third party providers acting on Google's behalf for the purposes set out above.
