Insurance policies such as travel cancellation insurance pay back any amounts incurred in the event of a cancellation. This costs very little (from € 18) and pays any cancellation costs due if you or your loved ones have to stay at home due to illness, if you become unemployed or start a new job at short notice. Finally, cancellation fees, i.e. the costs incurred if you have to cancel less than 70 days before the trip, can be between 10 and 85% of the trip price and even up to 100% for trips to the USA. However, there are other sensible insurance policies that, for example, reimburse unused vacation days if you have to travel home early due to illness. Or insurance that pays additional medical costs locally if you suffer an accident (think of the horrendous hospital costs in the USA, for example). However, you can rest assured, because incredibly few accidents happen on our riding programs!

We would like to draw your attention once again to the need for adequate insurance cover. Some countries no longer allow you to enter the country without travel insurance!
The insurance benefits listed below are provided by Hanse-Merkur in accordance with your country of residence and the respective General Terms and Conditions of Insurance.
Scope of application: all insurance policies apply in accordance with the tariff taken out Europe (incl. countries bordering the Mediterranean) or WorldwideThe insurance of assistance benefits is only valid outside the country in which you are resident.
Duration of insurance: Duration of the foreign or domestic trip - maximum 2 months - from the start of the trip to the return. The luggage and travel accident insurance also applies beyond the dates entered until the end of the booked package tour if this is canceled for reasons for which the insured person is not responsible.
Flights booked through us we insure the cancellation costs (up to 100%). As you can choose your flight dates as you wish, we take out a separate cancellation costs insurance policy for this purpose, i.e. it is not included in the insurance you have already booked. Make sure you also have this insurance cover when booking your own flights!
