On top of an idyllic clearing in the middle of the southern Black Forest the family-run riding stable is situated. Next to the spacious pastures a small forest stream meanders by and not far away is the Kirnbergsee, which invites you for a refreshing swim in summer. Here you can enjoy peace and quietness and enjoy rides through the varied landscape of the Black Forest.
During the Star Ride Week you experience day rides into the idyllic surroundings, the weekend program offers a little break from everyday life and even beginners learn the basics of handling a horse, as well as riding in small groups and at the end of the week you can go for a little hack. Accompanying non-riders can also benefit from many leisure activities in the area: Take a stroll through the beautiful old town of Bräunlingen or visit a brine bath.
Reiseverlauf
Riding week (Mon-Sun): You can arrive from 4 pm off on monday. Tuesday to Thursday you will do some hacking for around 2 hours each day - there is enough time left for relaxation and excursions. On friday and saturday you will enjoy day rides between 4 and 5 hours. Departure on Sunday after breakfast. Suitable for advanced beginners.
Star ride week (Mon-Sun): You can arrive from 4 pm off on monday. You will then ride about 4-6 hours daily into all directions from the farm on 5 riding days. For the last two riding days you will go for a trail ride and stay overnight with the horses in an inn. You take your necessary luggage with you on your horse, saddlebags are provided. Suitable for advanced beginners.
Pentecost ride (Fri-Mon):
Arrival on Friday evening. Saturday the first ride into the beautiful Black Forest. Get to know the horses and enjoy the nature. On Sunday you join a full day ride. The goal is a regional Whitsun horse meeting, a vry special experience! On Monday you will experience a shorter ride with picnic of around 4 hours before your departure at around 2:30 pm.
Weekend (Fri-Sun):
You can arrive from 4 pm off on friday. In the evening a delicious 3-course menu will be served, which you can enjoy in a cosy atmosphere. On Saturday morning after a rich breakfast the horses are cleaned and saddled and off we go on the first full day ride through the enchanting landscape of the Black Forest. At noon you will rest and relax with a saddlebag picnic in the middle of nature. In the evening you will be spoiled with a delicious menu. On Sunday morning, after breakfast, you will saddle up again and take a second ride with a picnic break. Departure in the afternoon.
Star ride weekend (Fri-Sun): This weekend suits you perfectly if you are an advanced beginner who wants to do a mini trail. You will take part in a 2 day trail ride and stay overnight with the horses in an inn on your way. You will stow your luggage in saddlebags on your horse which are provided.
For non-riders: The Kirnbergsee is in the immediate vicinity and invites you to go swimming. The small town of Bräunlingen with its beautiful old town centre is also ideal for a city stroll. Within a radius of up to 15 minutes by car there are various sights and destinations, including a saltwater spa, beautiful old towns, the Danube spring or various gorges where you can go for relaxing walks.

The lovely farm is idyllically situated in the middle of a small forest clearing. You will overnight in individually furnished, cosy guest rooms. Our partner has furnished them on his own and with great attention to detail. There are several double rooms and one family room (2 bedrooms with connecting door). A bathroom with bath towels and hairdryer, a covered terrace and a kitchenette with refrigerator, kettle and coffee machine are available to everyone. You can also use the free Wifi. From the rooms and from the terrace you have a wonderful view over the landscape and you can watch the horses graze peacefully on the lush meadows. An ideal place to relax!
Catering: In the morning you will enjoy a rich breakfast. At noon you will receive a delicious lunch package, which you can enjoy on the ride or on your excursions. In the evening you can end the day with a delicious 3-course menu.
