800 ha sized lakeside wildlife park

Dreams do come true! Have you ever dreamt of riding a wonderful Andalusian without regulating groups or strict agendas? Let us fulfil your dreams.
Spanish horses have a long tradition of every day farm work and game warding. On this 800 ha large Finca the horses are used for herding sheep, surveilling the iberian wild pigs, checking the fences and especially controlling game animals.

As the horses have to go "cross-country" during their chores they are extremely sure-footed and of a calm disposition. Shying deer or fluttering partridges are no scare. The wild animals are used to the riders and this allows for great observing from one of the many gametrails.
A few guided rides at the beginning of your stay will get you acquainted with"your"horse and the area. From then on you are free to go on outings in groups or alone to over 100 km of signposted riding and hiking trails and 80 km of soft cork paths. A reservoir and a river are within 15 min. riding distance. The perfect place to wade or actually go swimming with your horse. Often enough non-riders will join the group for a campfire, a barbecue or just a short hiking break. Outside the finca you can also take several long rides to the next village ( 30 km ). These old cattle trails lead you through different estates, olive groves and cork oak forests. Have some tapas and vino tinto in the village before heading back.
The finca Cerillares is about an hours drive northeast from Sevilla, in an undeveloped area near a reservoir ( swimming allowed ).

Accomodations consist of 10 apartments for 2 or 4 persons. They are of comfortable size each with a living-room area, 1 or 2 bedrooms, a kitchenette with a microwave, coffee maker, sink, fridge and satellite T.V. Every room has central heating.
The flats are grouped around 2 large patios with olive, orange and laurel trees and an atrium: a typical andalusian style of building. Each apartment has its own terrace with deckchairs, a sun shade and garden furniture. Ideal for sunbathing, reading or just dreaming.
