Programs:

A la carte:
Book your overnights and the corresponding riding package. Either riding package 1 with 10 lessons hacking and dressage, riding package 2 with 10 lessons jumping and military or riding package 3 with 5 group and 5 individual lessons.

Riding week:
Especially for those who want to go hacking as much as possible. Every day there is a morning and afternoon ride into the wooded surroundings, or a day ride accordingly.
The surroundings of the Castle Württemberg allow an infinite number of delightful rides across the plateau of the Upper Gäu with wide views of the Swabian Alb, through the Heckengäu along the Nagold Valley, over into the Black Forest or into the nearby Schönbuch with its light deciduous forests. On long gallop routes you will cross the landscape, stop for lunch at one of the numerous traditional inns during the full day rides or have a picnic in the countryside.

There are riding weeks in spring, autumn and for Easter:

The spring and autumn riding week
Sunday: Arrival during the afternoon or towards evening
Monday: Short ride to get to know the horses in the morning
in the afternoon a longer tour
Tuesday: Day ride with lunch break
Wednesday: morning and afternoon ride of 2 hours each
Thursday: Day ride with picnic or lunch in an inn
Friday: another 2 rides over the Gäu plateau
Saturday: Final ride until lunch, then finish and return home

The rides during the Easter holidays
Maundy Thursday: Arrival towards evening
Friday, Saturday, Easter Sunday: each day 2 longer hacks
Easter Monday: final ride in the morning, return home after lunch

The Intensive clinic for beginners or advanced riders (6 or 8 days):
Beginners: Specially designed for adult beginners on horseback, for the first steps into equestrian sports in the shortest possible time through intensive lessons in a pleasant environment among their peers.
Arrival on Sunday, riding program from Monday.
Example of a typical daily routine:
Breakfast
09.30 am theory, horse care, saddling
10.00 am riding lesson
12.30 pm lunch break
2.00 pm theory, e.g. video about seat and aids etc.
4.00 pm riding lesson
6.30 pm dinner
Goal: To impart or improve knowledge about horses and riding. Practical exercises on horseback, solid training in all gaits.

Advanced riders: Special program to develop your skills and knowledge: more routine and safety while riding or in-depth instruction in dressage or show jumping. This programme aims at advanced beginners and leisure riders. Ideal supplement after the basic course!

Combinated programme (15 days): combines the basic program and the advanced program in 15 days. Depending on your interests, the focus will be more on dressage, jumping or cross-country. The program is put together according to your wishes in consultation on site.

Ladies week dressage (6 days):
These special weeks are an intensive program with a focus on dressage. The female riders are clearly in the majority! The arrival is on Sunday afternoon or in the evening and the riding program starts on Monday. Until Thursday there will be 2 daily riding units in the discipline dressage. Friday morning is for the last training session. Riding a dressage task in competition mode once in a while also brings some progress. Departure on Friday after lunch.

Summer jumping course (6 days):
Equally suitable for jumping beginners and competition riders. Focus is on learning and revising the light seat, jumping gymnastics, individual obstacles, combinations, distances and parcours jumping.

Weekend:
Get to know the facilities and all the offered options! Arrival is on friday afternoon and advanced riders already have their first riding session on friday evening, beginners start off with some theory. Beginners then ride have 2 riding lessons on saturday and 1 on sunday. Advanced riders then have 1 riding lesson in the arena on saturday morning and go for hack in the afternoon and on sunday morning. Departure is in sunday after lunch.

Vacation clinic for teenager (7 days)
That´s when young people between 12 and 17 meet for horse riding with professional instruction and having fun in their vacations. Arrival is on sunday afternoon. There will be lots of riding in the following 6 days just as the kids wish: dressage, jumping and hacking on well-schooled and lovely tempered horses. Besides the riding lessons the kids benefit of some theory in august. There is no all-day frame program.


Hunting and hacking clinic (6 days):
advanced riders interested in hunting (no shooting or tracking animals, just very traditional hacking with obstacles) can learn about this lovely tradition in Germany. Each hunt is a festival, sometimes accompanied by a pack of hounds. Nowadays the master wears a foxtail one rider has to grab in the end on an open field and very high speed!
Monday: Arrive in the late morning and have your first riding session after lunch. You will train the hunting seat, little cross country obstacles and up and down jumps.
Tuesday: Training starts at 10 am, today you train ditches, embankments and behaviour in hunting fever when a big amount of horses is racing on open fields and has to get over obstacles in a controlled manner.
Wednesday: Today you will exercise the procedure of a small hunt from the beginning to the end in the afternoon.
Thursday: In the morning you learn some theoretical facts about hunting and in the noon you get your horses for some light excercise outside.
Friday: Training of your seat and jumping manner in the morning and some hacking in the afternoon.
Saturday: Today you will discover the magic of a full hunt - you will have to work really hard if you want to grab the fox tail and earn the honor!

Hunting weekend (3 days):
Please arrive until 2 pm on friday for your first riding lesson outside in the afternoon (if your arrival is not possible that early you can also do the first riding lesson in the arena then). On saturday you will practice obstacles and the procedures of a hunt and on sunday you can experience your first hunt. Departure is at afternoon.

New Year´s Special with jumping (10 days):
Designed for both, jumping beginners and competition riders! This programs contains of 8 lessons, theory and a final show jumping competition. The focus lies on the improvement of the jumping seat, low jumping gymnastics, individual obstacles, combinations, distances and parcours jumping. On New Year´s Eve and New Year´s Day there is no jumping lesson, instead you can do some hacking or join the dressage lessons.
