Beschreibung & Reiseverlauf

Welcome to the beautiful Green Mountains and the Mad River Valley of Vermont. The traditional guest house is on the edge of the river; Your haven to relax and the starting point for riding tours on 5-course Icelandic horses. These are particularly characterized by smooth passageways and their indestructible nature. In combination with the Icelandic saddles, which were specially designed for long tours, we guarantee a lot of comfort on the rides. You will not only like the hospitality, the property also impresses with its Victorian style inside and its flower-covered veranda with a view of corn fields and flower meadows. The comfortable accommodation offers hospitality at a gourmet level. In summer, the 3-course breakfast is served outside on the covered veranda. Lunch is either taken in the form of a picnic on the way or in a ed restaurant. Your dinner awaits you when you return to the guest house. You can end the day comfortably with classical music and a cup of tea in front of the fireplace. The rides take you across green meadows, into quiet forests and along the famous Vermont country roads. On warm days you can take a refreshing swim in the river that winds through the mountains and always produces waterfalls. An additional program is offered by the Sugarbush golf course with 18 holes or the local farmers market, where fresh, regional products and handicrafts with live music are offered on Saturdays. Warm welcome to non-riders!

At lunchtime you can fortify yourself with a picnic on the river bank. After returning to the Inn in the afternoon, you can go swimming in the river or have a little rest before dinner.
