South of the island of Djerba, nestled in olive groves and only one kilometre from the beach, is the family-run equestrian farm under Swiss management. Enjoy horseback rides on the undeveloped Mediterranean beach and experience the wild and beautiful nature of the hinterland.
The small charming estate is not only an ideal starting point for fantastic riding holidays, but is also ideal for hiking or bathing holidays. A bath in the pool or a massage will make you feel relaxed. Thus the riding farm offers perfect conditions for rest and relaxation, for riders and non-riders. Both guests travelling alone and families are welcome!
The Arabian and Berber horses are mainly from our own breeding and are the treasures of the farm. Besides horses, there are also some dromedaries living on the farm and of course, dogs and cats are not missing.
Reiseverlauf
Riding program riding week (approx. 16 hours): The riding week is aimed at advanced riders and includes six long rides of 2.5 to 3 hours each. A day ride can also be organised on request. The riding area offers wide beaches, desert, palm and olive groves. You will ride on very well groomed, well trained Berber and Arab horses. Realize your dream of a beach gallop at sunset on the back of a noble horse! On request, rides lasting several days into the Sahara are also organized.
Riding week (lessons and rides, approx. 10 hours): Beginners are carefully introduced to the art of riding. At first you will go to the riding ground (20x40 m), if you feel safe, you can soon venture a first small ride on an experienced horse. Also for beginners and insecure riders the riding week with lessons and rides (total approx. 10 hours) is a good choice. If the long rides are too much for you, you can also book the riding week light and use it for shorter rides.
Riding week for children (approx. 6 hours): Children receive lunge lessons and can also ride out with their parents if possible (from approx. 6 years). Smaller or inexperienced children will be guided by the guide. Otherwise, pony guiding is of course also on offer. The children´s riding week can be booked for children between 4 and 12 years of age, who sleep in an extra bed in their parents´ room. Included are about 6 hours in the saddle. Older children can book the normal riding week with lessons and rides or the riding week (if they have enough experience).
Further offers: In addition to horseback riding, the surroundings offer the best conditions for walks and hikes. Or swim in the pool and in the sea. Other water sports like kite surfing are also possible. Also carriage rides or excursions to the Sahara are organized by the farm. You can also try a ride on a dromedary. If you prefer to stay with your bike, you will find a bike rental in the village.
The landlady is a trained masseuse and offers you the possibility for relaxing massages.

The stylish complex is idyllically embedded in olive groves with a view of the Mediterranean Sea. The beach and the next village are only about 1 km away. The riding stable with small horse breeding is located directly next to the guesthouse, which was rebuilt a few years ago in Tunisian style. It offers 6 spacious double rooms (approx. 25 sqm), each with private bathroom and terrace or balcony. For children an extra bed can be placed in their parents´ room. A private garden with olive trees and a large terrace offers cosy places for you and your favourite book. Of course there is also a private pool (salt water), which offers you refreshment all year round.
In the morning you enjoy a delicious breakfast, at noon light sandwiches and salads are available. In the evening, traditional food is usually served, vegetarian food is also available.
