Beschreibung & Reiseverlauf

On this trail you will cross Wales from east to west, up to the coast of the Celtic Sea, overlooking Ireland. On a distance of about 160km over hills and valleys you will get to know a mystical and wild Wales. The ride to the coast is very varied and leads over winding paths, open hills, river crossings and beautiful green plains. The trails are a mixture of little-used farm tracks, bridleways, old local roads and routes through the Cambrian Mountains. The riding pace varies and adapts to the terrain. When you arrive at the Celtic Sea, you can expect a lively gallop! You ride between 6 and 7 hours a day.

Celtic Trail (4 days) - no pack trip

This trail takes you along forgotten paths past many of Wales´ ancient cultural sites. You will climb hills and pass through historic settlements. This gives you a special impression of the history of the country and you are right on the spot, including on a battlefield. On the plateaus you can also expect brisk gallops. You ride between 6 and 7 hours a day.
