Attila star rides, 7 days, 5 riding daysDay 1: Arrival in Ópusztaszer (no later than 5 p.m.) and the accommodation in the yurts on the meadows of the Achal-Tekkiner stud farm.
Day 2: Test riding and presentation of the stud farm
The day starts at 8 a.m. with breakfast before you can get to know the horses. The first test ride takes place at 9 am to establish a relationship between the riders and horses and to assess riding skills. The ride is followed by lunch in the yurts. In the afternoon (approx. 2 p.m.), a visit to the stud farm with the "steppe train" is on the program: guests are picked up in one or more wagons pulled by a tractor for an adventurous tour of the Achal-Tekkiner stud farm and the farm to see the stallions, broodmares and foals Afterwards, you will have some free time to relax before meeting up for dinner.
Day 3: Ride to the Turul statue
Today's ride takes you to a monument commemorating the Hungarian conquest, the Turul statue. After the approx. 3-hour ride through the steppe, you take a lunch break with a picnic at the statue before heading back to the farm.
Day 4: Horseback ride to the Kun hills
Today you will ride through the hills of the Kuns, an important legacy of the Turkish occupation. The trail leads through the meadows of the Plean plain, through oak forests and floodplains, where you can discover the rich flora and fauna of the fallow land. Dinner will be back at the farm.
Day 5: Ride to the herd of gray cattle and visit the Memorial Park
After breakfast, you saddle the horses and ride to the center of the grey cattle herd's winter pastures. This place is located on an approximately 1,200-hectare nature conservation meadow, from where you have a good view of the special, protected fauna, the water buffalos grazing in the open, the colorful bird life and the wide horizon of the intact meadows. During the tour you will pass the herd of Hungarian Grey cattle at arm's length, where you can see the calves and mighty bulls.
This landscape is a credible image of the great steppes. In the afternoon, a visit to the Feszty Panorama in the National Historical Memorial Park is on the program.
Day 6: Southforest
This morning you have some time to relax or roam around the farm. After lunch, you make your way to the southforest. You ride between 100-year-old oaks and explore the rich wildlife with owls, ravens, deer, foxes, rabbits and many others. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner in the yurt camp with traditional Hungarian music, food and wine tasting. Your host will also tell you about the history of the Achal-Tekkiner, how they are connected to the history of Hungary and the Cseppentö family. They have been breeding and training these horses for generations and will be happy to tell you more about their passion for these majestic animals.
Day 7: After breakfast, farewell to the farm and departure.
Attila Special 22-28.3.2026The date in March offers a special feature: a one-day "stag hunt". On the last day, you have to work together with your fellow riders as a team. On this day, your coordination skills and strategy will be tested. You chase a "stag" (a person disguised as a deer) through the steppe, forests and rivers until you catch him. A task in which you have to work together with your horses and fellow riders. The other days are the same as the Attila ride.

Day 1: Arrival in Ópusztaszer (no later than 5 p.m.) and accommodation in the yurts on the meadows of the Achal-Tekkiner stud farm.
Day 2: Achal-Tekkiner stud farm visit
The day begins with an early breakfast before you get to know the horses. The first test ride then takes place to establish a relationship between the riders and horses and to assess riding skills. On your first ride, you will visit the Achal-Tekkiner stud farm on horseback. The Cseppento family has been breeding these horses for many years, not only for tourist purposes but also for sport (eventing) After a short lunch break, you will go on a second ride to a nearby forest.
Day 3: Visit to the Pusztaszeri Tower
After breakfast you will ride through the Pusztasz nature reserve. On the way, you will experience the diversity of native bird species as well as other protected animals, such as buffalos, which you can observe on horseback. Lunch break for horses and riders at the Pusztaszer Tower before returning to the farm.
Day 4: Visit to the ecopark in Sándorfalva
Today's ride takes you to the Sandorfalva eco-park. Lunch break in the park, where you also have the opportunity to visit the park or relax in the hammocks. After the lunch break you return to the farm.
Day 5: Memorial Park
In the morning you ride through shady forests to the Monument of the Seven Chiefs. In the afternoon, you visit the National Historical Park and the famous Feszty panorama painting. Dinner back at the farm.
Day 6: Horseback ride to the Hungarian herd of gray cattle
In the morning, you will visit the herd of gray cattles on their pasture in a nature reserve. You can observe the entire herd, the small calves, the cattle and the steer from horseback. After the lunch break you ride through the southernforest, a 100-year-old oak forest with an abundance of wildlife. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner in the yurt camp with traditional Hungarian music, food and wine tasting. Your host will also tell you about the history of the Achal-Tekkiner, how they are connected to the history of Hungary and the Cseppentö family. They have been breeding and training these horses for generations and will be happy to tell you more about their passion for these majestic animals.
Day 7: After breakfast, farewell and departure.
Almos star rides, 7 days, 5 riding daysA riding week for leisurely rider riders who would also like to learn more about the country's culture and traditions. You ride on 5 days, but the riding program is a little less strenuous, so you have more time for other activities, such as a visit to the town of Szeged or the cultural park.
Day 1: Arrival in Ópusztaszer (no later than 5 p.m.) and accommodation in the yurts on the meadows of the Achal-Tekkiner stud farm. Early dinner and discussion of the program for the week.
Day 2: Achal-Tekkiner stud farm visit
You will have breakfast in the yurt camp before gathering at the stables and getting to know your horses. Every rider is given a suitable horse, to tack up on and has a short test ride. First you ride in the arena to get used to your horses, and later you go for a short ride through small forests and wide meadows, which are ideal for your first gallops. You return to the yurt camp for lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit the Achal-Tekkiner stud farm with the "steppe train": the group will board an old-style wagon (pulled by a tractor, resembling a train) and take an adventurous tour across the Puszta to visit the Achal-Tekkiner stud farm and the farm. You will visit the stallions, the broodmares and the foals. In the afternoon you have some free time before dinner is served in the yurt camp.
Day 3: Half-day ride and visit to the Heritage Park
On the second day you ridel through shady forests to one of the most famous landmarks of Ópusztaszer: the monumental Arrow of the seven Chiefs. Legend tells how the seven leaders sealed their unity before the conquest by dripping their blood into a single vessel. Return to the camp for lunch and after a short break, you visit the National Historical Cultural Park. There you can admire the panoramic painting of Feszty. The park offers numerous attractions and the open-air museum (Skanzen) is worth a walk. After the visit, you return to the yurt camp for dinner.
Day 4: Ride to the Hungarian herd of gray cattle
Today to ride you will visit the herd of gray cattle. Day 5: Half-day ride and city tour
After breakfast, you tack up the horses and go for a cool, shady ride near the stud farm. The route is rich in birds and wildlife. Perfect for enjoying the tranquillity of nature. You return to the camp for lunch. In the afternoon you visit Szeged, the "town of the sun". Its wide boulevards, art nouveau palaces and open squares create a unique atmosphere. The highlight of the visit is Szeged Cathedral, one of the most impressive churches in Hungary. The huge votive church with its two towers dominates the cathedral square. Inside, visitors will be fascinated by the rich mosaics and frescoes, which are complemented by the nearby Romanesque Dömötör Tower. In the evening, you will be taken back to the camp for dinner.

Riding week with cattle work, 5 days, 3 riding daysA short week of trail rides including a cattle drive with Hungarian gray cattle. The Cseppentő family owns about 80 to 90 young gray cattle as well as Charolais bulls, cows and heifers, which have to be driven from the summer pastures to their winter pastures. This program allows you to get to know the Achal-Tekkiner in a different role, not only as trail riding horses, but you will also learn how their intelligence and reliability can be used when working with the cattle

Day 4: Cattle work
Today you ride from the central pasture of the Akhal Stud Farm along forest paths, open fields and nature trails to the 60 to 70 gray cattle and Charolais herds grazing between Ópusztaszer and Pusztaszer. You take a lunch break with a picnic prepared from the meat of the Cseppentő family's cattle. After a short break, you prepare for the most exciting part of the day: finding, rounding up and driving the cattle to another pasture. During the work, the rider truly feel at one with their horses, just like the shepherd people of old who moved together with their animals. Once all the animals are on the new pastures, you return to the farm. There you will have a farewell dinner.
Day 5: Departure
After breakfast, farewell to the farm and departure.

Unterkunft
Overnight stay in genuine Kazakh and Mongolian yurts. Yurts are not tents, but an old form of traditional dwelling. Our yurts are located on the pasture of our stud farm. Through the open ceiling of the yurts, guests can see the starry sky and hear the sounds of the moving horses, allowing them to rest in harmony with nature in close proximity to the horses. Hot and cold water bathing cabins are located separately near the yurts.
There is a large communal yurt which can comfortably accommodate 40-50 people, with a large open fireplace in the middle and a buffet trolley next to it.
As the yurts are not heated, guests are accommodated in guesthouses until mid-April.

Achal-Tekkiner horses, born and raised on the farm. The Achal-Tekkiner is an intelligent, dynamic and sensitive breed of horse. It has exceptional mental abilities. If kept in a harmonious environment, they are reliable and very cooperative.
Sattel & Zaum:
Self-made saddles in Hungarian style, modernized for today's riding needs and horses. They are extremely safe and comfortable and have proved to be very useful on the tours of recent years.
Reiterfahrung: For advanced riders. Confidence in all gaits. Max. Rider weight: 90kg. Minimum age: 12 years
