Day 1: Arrival and transfer from Bilbao airport (approx. 3 hours) to Cangas de Onis, an 8th century village that defended Christianity during the Moorish invasion of the Iberian Peninsula. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Lagos de Covadonga - Cave of the Saint and Basilica of Covadonga
After breakfast, visit the Gamoneo cheese dairy and then to ride to the beautiful glacial lakes of Lagos de Covadonga (approx. 4 hours). After lunch in a restaurant to ride you walk down to the basilica of Covadonga. Later transfer to Oseja de Sajambre for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Oseja de Sajambre - Posada de Valdeon (5-hour ride)
In the morning to ride you cycle through the limestone mountains of the Cantabrian Massif and the beech and oak forests with an ascent of 1450 m to Panderruedda. After lunch to ride you descend through the shady forest to Posada de Valdeon (960 m), where you will spend the night today.

Day 4: Posada de Valdeon - Espinama (6 hours ride)
In the morning, to ride you take a leisurely and picturesque 11 km ascent to the Pandetrave Pass (1566 m). At an altitude of 926 m, you stop for a warm picnic on an alpine meadow. After lunch to ride you will continue for approx. 3 hours on a very scenic route through villages and forests to village Espinama (1000 m), where you will spend the night in a hotel.

Day 5: Espinama - Sotres (3.5h)
Today you will visit the nearby beautiful village Potes, where you can find unique souvenirs and admire the local stone and wooden architecture. After lunch to ride you ride approx. 14 km through the glacial landscape directly on the medial moraine, which was formed by the forces of two glaciers pressing against each other in the late Pleistocene. You to ride from an altitude of 900 m up to 1668 m and then down to 1030 m, where the village Sotres is located. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6: Sotres - Tielve (3h)
You leave the mountains and the Picos de Europa National Park via a 9 km trail to village Tielve, where the horses are loaded onto the truck and you drive 50 minutes to Póo de Llanes, where you can enjoy the beach. If you are lucky, you will witness a very special natural spectacle on the border between sea and countryside: Bufones - natural water fountains, reminiscent of geysers, throw up into the air at high tide and turbulent sea water .
Dinner and overnight stay in a nice hotel.

Day 7: Póo - Playa Cuevas del Mar (4h)
Today the route leads along the Atlantic coast, through villages and small picturesque bays. After 4 hours of riding, you say goodbye to the horses on the beach of Cuevas del Mar and visit the so-called "Llagar", a place where delicious cider is produced. After tasting different types of cider, you will drive to Oviedo (approx. 30 min.), the capital of Asturias, to visit the UNESCO monuments and enjoy the nightlife.
Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel in Oviedo.

Day 8: Farewell and transfer to the airport (after breakfast).
