The daily, varied rides to lead in small groups through fragrant pine forests, the Maremma nature reserve and over gentle hill with sweeping views of the sea. A special highlight is the ride to the deserted sandy beaches of Cala Violina, where you can gallop along the water. In the evening, you can enjoy the relaxed ranch life after the rides: with an aperitivo in the clubhouse, with typical Tuscan specialties and regional wines, during relaxing hours by the pool or - on request - with a soothing massage. Accommodation is provided in a charming country house with pool, surrounded by nature and tranquillity.

Itinerary

Short week (4 days)

Day 1: Arrival by 14:00. After you have checked into your room, you will meet at stable, get to know the horses and go for your first short test ride. In the evening, a welcome aperitivo and a typical Tuscan dinner await you at Ranch. Riding time: approx. 1.5 hours.

Day 2: After breakfast, you will meet your guide at stable and to tack up the horses for today's ride.
You to ride on narrow nature trails through the Cala Violina Nature Park. The landscape soon clears and a breathtaking view of the coast opens up in front of you. You to ride down to sea and reach the beautiful beach of Cala Violina. There you can enjoy a picnic right on the beach. Weather permitting, you will have time for a swim in the sea or a walk along the water before returning to saddle to rear and back to Ranch to ride. In the late afternoon, you will have time to relax by the pool or - on request - enjoy a soothing massage. Enjoy aperitivo and dinner in a relaxed atmosphere at Ranch. Riding time: approx. 5-6 hours.

Day 3: This day is all about the sea. After breakfast to tack up your horses and to ride through fragrant pine forests to the beach of Punta Ala - an impressive, 8 km long sandy beach, ideal for a long gallop along sea. Take a break on the beach with a picnic. Use the time for a swim in the sea, relax in the sand or simply enjoy the vastness and tranquillity of nature. In the late afternoon to ride you return to Ranch, where a farewell dinner awaits you. Riding time: approx. 5-6 hours.

Day 4: Departure after breakfast.

Riding week with 2-day trail (6 days)

Day 3: Today the ride takes you through typical Tuscan landscapes. You follow forest paths through the Maremma and enjoy the unspoiled nature. At lunchtime, you take a break in the heart of the forest in a hunting lodge. After the lunch break, you continue your ride to the nearby vineyard. There the horses are unsaddled and you take part in a wine tasting. The horses spend the night at the winery, while the rider are taken back to the country house, where dinner awaits you in the evening. Riding time: approx. 6 hours.

Day 4: After breakfast, you will be taken back to the horses and set off to farm. You to ride through wild, untouched landscapes, following forest paths up to the ruins of Monte Muro, which lie on a small plateau overlooking the sea Take a break there, enjoy a picnic lunch and the view before returning to saddle to rear and back to farm to ride. In the evening, dinner awaits you at the stables. Riding time: approx. 5-6 hours.

Day 5: This day is all about the sea. Accomodation
Overnight stay in a farmhouse in single rooms with private or shared bathroom. (subject to availability).
All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, TV and WLAN. The farmhouse has a pool and parking spaces for cars (including electric vehicles).

Catering: Typical Tuscan cuisine made from local produce. Special dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan) can be catered for.

Saddle & Tack: Western saddle and tack

Experience: Experienced rider, confident in all three gaits with trail experience. Maximum rider weight: 90kg.

Horses: Various breeds: Paint Horse, Haflinger, Arabian, mixtures. Mares and geldings. They live outside in the pastures in a herd all year round and are treated like members of the family.
They are well-trained for the trails, sure-footed, friendly and have a social character.
