Daily itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at the stables, followed by a welcome dinner to get to know the group. You will have the opportunity to explore the farm before being briefed on the adventure ahead.
Day 2: You begin your tour, leaving civilisation behind and heading into the heart of the mountains. You will ride along secret paths in the region, enjoy the magnificent views and climb 500 metres up into the mountains. Riding time approx. 5 hours, 18 km.
Day 3: Today you will ride westwards deep into the wild Pyrenees. This day is all about discovery and amazement: chamois, deer and marmots are just some of the animals you may encounter along the way. The trail winds its way through the mountains for 24 km, including a two-hour descent with a 600 m difference in altitude. Riding time approx. 6 hours
Day 4: Today you cross the border into Andorra and ride through the largest ski area in the Pyrenees. The peaks rise majestically around you as you travel along 26 km of trails with an altitude difference of 1,300 metres. Today's ride is very intense, with about 5.5 hours in the saddle, characterised by the immensity and rugged beauty of the Andorran mountains.
Day 5: Today is a special day on the tour, as you ride to a pass at an altitude of 2,700 metres. From there, you have a breathtaking view of Lake Montmallou, which lies like a jewel in the middle of the mountains. Riding time approx. 5 hours, 18 km.
Day 6: You continue riding through the Madriu Valley, following small paths known only to the locals. You cross the border into Spain as the Sierra del Cadí rises on the horizon. A long descent awaits you to reach the village of Aransa, where you will spend the night. Riding time approx. 7.5 hours, 24 km.
Day 7: Today is the last day of riding. You ride down to the Cerdanya plateau, accompanied by the Andorran mountains watching over you in silence. Riding time approx. 4.5 km.
Day 8: A final breakfast together, your eyes still full of magnificent landscapes and your heart filled with memories, then it's time to say goodbye.
Trail ride in Haute AriègeThis ride takes you through the water-rich, wild and romantic high mountains of Haute Ariège to Andorra. The area promises alpine meadows, alpine forests, mountain streams, lakes and snow-capped peaks. From Les Angles, the route first takes you through forests and meadows to Mijanes and on to Camurac. In winter, these are popular ski resorts with great mountain panoramas.
The next destination is Luzernac, a village of 500 souls in the middle of wooded mountains. Here you can admire the old village centre with its stone houses and historic churches. Overnight stay at a local campsite.
From Luzernac, a long ride awaits you up to the mountain hut on the Rulhe alpine pasture at an altitude of 2,185 metres. You will enjoy a breathtaking panorama all around you.
The following day, you will reach the winter sports resort of Soldeu in Andorra. On the last day of riding, you will cross the border into France again and ride up to the Col de Puymorens, where you will once again be greeted by a magnificent view of the mountains of France and Andorra.
