Welcome to a truly charming natural paradise! In the middle of the Vosges mountains on the high plateau of Champ de feu you will find a very special variety of landscapes: fir forests, mountains, plateaus and waterfalls invite you to go for a ride. At about 1000 m you will find the horse farm with its pastures and stables.
The historical region with its medieval castles, castle ruins, old churches and a pagan wall, the origins of which are still shrouded in legend, offers the right setting for legends. Immerse yourself in a fascinating fairytale world in the picturesque Vosges mountains!

Itinerary

Vosges Star Rides (Sun - Sat. 7 days/6 nights)

Day 1: Arrival in the afternoon/evening (between 18:00 and 20:00). Let us spoil you culinary with a typical Alsatian dinner.

Day 2: First ride in the surrounding forests. Get to know the hilly landscape of Alsace from horseback. The route takes you over the magnificent Champ de Feu plateau to the village of Hohwald. You will pass the La Grande Bellevue lookout point. This clearing in the middle of the forest, which offers a wide view of the Vosges, looks like something out of a fairy tale. Here you can easily imagine the origin of legends and elves. The ride continues through a legendary area. In between, you will take a break at a rustic farm, where you can taste regional delicacies and enjoy Alsatian hospitality (or have a picnic). Riding and enjoying, typically French!

After lunch, you will continue your ride to one of the most beautiful waterfalls, the Nideck waterfall. Near the castle ruin of the same name, you will enter the land of fairy tales.

Day 3: Today's riding day also takes you to the mountains of the Vosges. After breakfast, the ride will take you towards Rotlach, an area known for its deer. With a little luck, you will be able to spot some deer. Depending on the weather, lunch will be served between the ruins of a former castle. In the afternoon, the ride will take you through forest areas to Neuntelstein. This rock with its rugged walls is particularly popular with climbers and offers a fantastic view of the Alsatian plain.

Day 4: Strengthened by breakfast, today's destination is the Coin Perdu, the so-called “lost corner”. Around 30 menhirs stand here lined up in a circle. This formation is still a mystery.

After lunch, we will head towards the Heidenkopf, a mountain that is 787 meters high. Here, too, there is a fantastic view of the valleys and villages of the Vosges. Enjoy this before a final gallop takes you back to the equestrian center.

Day 5: Today you will ride to the Serva waterfall. From the top, paths lead down to the village of Natzwiller. Planted paths lead idyllically through the mountains, offering wonderful 360° panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. You will have a picnic lunch at the top of the Pfriemenkopf hill before returning to the equestrian center.

Day 6: Today you will have a last ride: you will ride towards the plateaus of Haute Lachamps and Bas Lachamp, which offer a beautiful panorama of the surrounding area, well worth a photo stop! This place is ideal for a picnic lunch. Afterwards, we will climb up the mountain St. Jean, which is located opposite the Perreux pass. A short gallop will take you to the summit, from where you will have a wonderful 360° panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. We will then continue through the pine forest to the hilltop before returning to the farm.

Day 7: Departure after breakfast.
