In picturesque Burgundy, not far from Dijon (about 33 km north), nestled in a region rich in forests and meadows, lies a modern, traditional guesthouse with an equestrian center. The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and relaxed—a true vacation idyll and the ideal place to unwind. You’re sure to find peace and quiet here, along with time for a good book or a long walk! If you’re a foodie, you’ve come to the right place. Your hosts will treat you to excellent French cuisine. Enjoy horseback rides in sunny Burgundy on well-trained horses and at your own pace. A wide ion of horses of various breeds is available. You’ll receive maps and a briefing from your host and ride through a large nature park that offers a diverse range of landscapes. Traditional villages and fine French cuisine round out the idyll of Burgundy.
Itinerary
Burgundy on your own: (8 days / 7 nights):
Plan your riding vacation however you like and ride through the beautiful nature park with friends or family. With a safe horse, a map, and a compass (please bring your own), you’ll have the chance to explore beautiful Burgundy at your own pace. You’ll take a guided trial ride on the first day and then discuss the route you’d like to ride each day. A picnic lunch will be delivered to you along the way, and your guide will be available by phone to answer any questions you may have.
Wednesdays are always rest days—time for your own activities in the area or to simply relax and unwind.
Non-rider: The hiking trails in the surrounding area make this place a holiday destination for non-riding companions as well. In addition, various excursions invite you to undertake activities - your hosts will be happy to give you a few tips.
Accomodation
You will stay in comfortable guest rooms with shower/WC in the historical, over 400 year old manor house. The cosy dining room invites you to stay. The meals are lovingly and freshly prepared, with the very best ingredients, fresh fruit and vegetables, some from our own cultivation or from the farmer next door. Great importance is attached to a balanced, healthy diet and delicious French specialities. Fresh baguette and table wine are served with every meal. A cheese board to close the stomach may not be missing in France of course. For families and groups there is also a holiday apartment with 3 bedrooms, a bathroom (shower and bathtub, washing machine), sep. WC, large eat-in kitchen with fireplace and small garden seating area, on request from 4 persons.

Experience: Only experienced riders, comfortable in all gaits. There are many beautiful long gallops! Minimum age for rider: 12 years. Rider weight max. 95kg. Number of riders: 4-8.
Horses:
Approx. 20 riding horses: Anglo-Arabians. The horses live in open stables and are mostly outside on extensive pastures in the herd. They are therefore well-balanced and extremely sociable.
