The new ride from our popular partner in the Morvan takes you through the world-famous vineyards of Burgundy. On this tour to ride you will pass through picturesque landscapes, charming villages and famous vineyards. You will visit historic castles and picturesque villages, enjoy fine Burgundy wines at local tastings and discover the cultural treasures of the region around Dijon. The trails also offer plenty of opportunities for trotting and galloping. 
This trip combines nature, culture and pleasure - perfect for riding enthusiasts who want to discover Burgundy from a new perspective.


 

Reiseverlauf





Day 1: Arrival in the afternoon, dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: This morning you meet your horses and begin the ride through the hilly landscape to the first wine tasting in Gevrey Chambertin, a small village in the heart of the Burgundy region.
vineyards. You to ride through Chambolle-Musigny and take a lunch break at the foot of the Château du Clos Vougeot. After lunch, you continue your ride through the famous vineyards of Vosne-Romanée until you reach Château de la Berchère, where you spend the night. Riding time approx. 5 hours

Day 3: This morning offers plenty of opportunities for a brisk gallop until you reach the magnificent abbey of Cîteaux. You take part in a guided tour of the abbey and then enjoy a lunch break. In the afternoon to ride you return to the Château de la Berchère, where you spend the night. Riding time approx. 5 hours.

Day 4: Your day starts early today, as the longest riding day awaits you. You to ride through the town Nuit Saint Georges and then on to the vineyards of Ladoix, Aloxe Corton and the Château de Savigny-lès-Beaune, where you enjoy a wine tasting and a guided tour. At the end of the day to ride you will ride through the beautiful town Beaune, where you will end today's ride. Overnight stay and dinner in a 3-star hotel on the outskirts of Beaune. Riding time approx. 6 hours

Day 5: In the morning, you will go on a short horseback ride through the vineyards of Pommard, combined with lunch and a wine tasting. In the early afternoon, you will visit the Hospices de Beaune, a historic hospital built under Philip the Good, Duke of Burgundy. The rest of the afternoon is free to explore Beaune. Overnight stay and dinner back in Beaune. Riding time approx. 2-3 hours

Day 6: After breakfast to ride you will pass through Volnay, Auxey Duresse and Monthélie, then take a short tasting and lunch break at the foot of Château Meursault. In the afternoon to ride you will pass through Chassagne-Montrachet and Saint Aubin, where you will take a short break for a tasting of the famous Burgundy wine. Overnight stay and dinner in Nolay. Riding time approx. 5 hours

Day 7: The last day will show you a different landscape in Burgundy. You to ride past the Montagne des Trois Croix, past the village of Santenay and finally to the vineyards of Les Marranges. A short wine tasting awaits you here with a breathtaking view of Mont Rome and over the Autunois valley. The day ends at the magnificent Château de Couches, which you can visit on your own before you leave. Riding time approx. 4.5 hours.
