Riding vacations for western enthusiasts and guests who want to explore the beautiful countryside on horseback. The Ranch offers the opportunity to experience the tranquillity of nature and the harmony of country life at first hand. It is located in a rural, gently undulating area close to the Croatian border. The rides to lead take you through forests, across wide meadows along lakes and through tranquil villages - a new experience awaits you every day while you enjoy the freedom on safe, well-trained Quarter Horses. For experienced rider riders, the sandy trails offer many great gallops.
For those who want to improve their riding skills, the training week program offers daily training by a professional trainer in all Western disciplines.
The Ranch is run by a family that loves and lives horses with passion. The mother has been riding since she was a child, has successfully competed in western competitions and is a qualified trainer and riding guide. The family breed and train their horses themselves and their daughter regularly competes successfully at shows.
Non-riders are also very welcome - they will have just as much fun in the idyllic landscape with its many lakes.

Itinerary

Riding week 7 days

Day 1: After arriving at your accommodation, you will meet your guide and get to know Ranch and the horses. You will go for a short ride or a test ride in the riding arena. In the evening, you will meet for dinner and discuss the program for the week around the campfire.

Day 2: After breakfast to tack up you ride the horses and to ride to the Agnes Lak Arboretum. You to ride through deep forests and gallop over gentle hill. You enjoy a picnic lunch at lake in the arboretum. In the afternoon, you ride through a game reserve where, with a bit of luck, you may spot mouflon, deer and wild boar. Afterwards you return to Ranch Riding time: approx. 5-6 hours

Day 3: Today to ride you ride through the Miklósfa-forest, past a small lake, and visit the 200-year-old mammoth pine tree. This ride offers many opportunities for brisk gallops through the hill. In the evening you return to Ranch, where you can relax over dinner. Riding time: approx. 4 hours

Day 4: Today's ride is a little more relaxed. You to ride along lakes, enjoy the landscape and the wildlife and have plenty of opportunities to take photos. In the afternoon there is time to relax on the Ranch or take a short walk in the surrounding area or swim in a lake Riding time: approx. 4 hours

Day 5: The fifth day is dedicated to relaxation for horse and rider. You can choose from many leisure activities in the surrounding area - for example hiking, a visit to Gyekenyeslake or the Zalakaros thermal bath or a canoe or SUP tour. All activities are around 20-40 minutes away from Ranch (not included). Your hosts will be happy to give you tips for a suitable excursion. If you wish, you can also take a training session on the course and improve your riding skills in the western disciplines (for an extra charge).

Day 6: After a day without horses, you are fit again and ready for new adventures. You to ride through small villages and forests to Liszó-lake. There you take a picnic break before returning to Ranch Riding time: approx. 4 hours

Day 7: On the last day, you will go for a short ride in the morning. Then you say goodbye to the horses and your hosts and set off on your journey home. Riding time: approx. 3 hours


Training week 7 days

Western training week for rider who want to develop their skills in all Western disciplines (reining, horsemanship, pleasure) on highly trained Quarter Horses. Experienced rider riders can also try their hand at cutting. The program is suitable for rider, who already have riding experience and would like to get to know Western riding, as well as for rider, who already have experience in these disciplines and would like to deepen their knowledge. Her trainer is a qualified instructor and the horses have been trained by her and her daughter for international competitions and regularly compete successfully in all disciplines.

Day 1: Arrive and get to know the farm. Over dinner, you will discuss the week's itinerary and your personal goals.

2nd-6th day: In the morning you will have a short theory session and a training session in the riding arena. In the afternoon, you will go for a short ride (1.5-2 hours) to explore the surrounding area.

Day 7: Departure after breakfast.

Non-riders: Non-riders are also welcome in the program. You can choose from many activities - the region offers beautiful cycle paths and hiking trails, several fish and bathing lakes as well as a thermal bath nearby. A car is recommended for excursions in the surrounding area.

Accomodation
You will stay in apartments near the Ranch. Each apartment is equipped with its own bathroom and kitchen. Single rooms in the apartment are possible upon request, but the bathroom is shared with other travelers.

Saddle & Tack: western

Experience: Advanced beginners and upwards, saddle fit in all gaits. Children aged 8 and over with sufficient riding experience can take part in the rides. Maximum rider weight: 90kg

Horses: Quarter horses, most of them born and trained at Ranch They are all well-behaved, sure-footed and well trained for the trails. They live in the herd in huge paddocks.
