Through a pristine Moroccan landscape with many oases, wadis and ultimately the beach, we offer you a particularly sporty ride of up to 40 km per day. The area around Massa offers sandy plains and wide beaches that allow for a fast pace. For all those who want to experience Morocco in a sporty way. Itinerary

Day 1: Upon arrival, you will discover the ranch: a green oasis where you will spend the evening and night. Here you can enjoy the gardens and terraces with views of the sea and mountains, accompanied by a cup of delicious Moroccan tea. You will have the opportunity to get to know the team and the horses.

Day 2: After a hearty breakfast, you will prepare the horses and leave the ranch for your first
day of riding. You will ride into the mountains with views of the ranch and the sea. Along the way, you will pass through Berber villages and meet shepherds and their herds. You will have a picnic under the argan trees and in the afternoon you will descend to the plain of Tiznit. Here, the ground allows for a faster riding pace. For the evening and night, you will stay in private accommodation in Laouina to learn about the culture and way of life of the Berbers.

Day 3: Shortly after leaving Laouina, you will cross an oasis that provides shade and coolness and follow the canals of an ancient irrigation system. After crossing the village and taking a break at the spring to quench the horses' thirst, you will enter a dry stone desert with a mountain back . You will stop for lunch in a village where you can admire the old buildings with their typical mud houses. You will pass some palm trees and cross wadis before arriving at the village of Ouijane with its centuries-old olive grove. After a labyrinth of alleys and shady paths, you will reach Valerie and Michel's house. You will definitely want to take a dip in the swimming pool before spending the night in traditional chaima tents.

Day 4: From Ouijane, you will take a beautiful route with views of the wadi. On this day, there are two different options to choose from: a passage through the mountains with steep paths, but worth the climb for the breathtaking views. Or you can spend the morning riding along the mountain on more accessible trails. After a picnic overlooking the argan plantations and rocks, spend the afternoon riding through the villages at the foot of the mountains. Spend the evening and night in a comfortable hotel at the gateway to the “little Sahara.”

Day 5: At the start of the day, you will cross the sand dunes. Then you will follow the Wadi Massa, the largest wadi in the Souss region. You will have lunch near the large farms, then reach Massa and cross ancient cultures along the donkey trails that have shaped the landscape for centuries. The water in this delta gives rise to lush vegetation, contrasting with the arid landscape you have just crossed. You will arrive at your hotel, where you can relax by the swimming pool before dinner is served with a view of the palm grove.

Day 6: You will leave Massa and reach the coast through desert landscapes. You will have lunch overlooking the sea at the top of the cliffs. Wonderful galloping trails offer themselves for crossing the sandy desert to your destination, a lodge run by a Berber family.
You will spend the evening in the troglodyte caves hidden in the cliffs overlooking the sea.

Day 7: On this last day of riding, you will complete your crossing of the desert on the heights of the cliffs to the fishing port of Aglou, where you will stop for lunch. The return to the ranch is via the beach with
15 km of fine sand. Upon arrival at the ranch, you will help caring the horses and can treat yourself to a well-deserved massage.

Day 8: Transfer to Agadir airport and return flight

Accomodation
You will spend the night in good middle-class hotels and guesthouses. One night is spent in a Berber tent.

Saddle & Tack: English trekking or endurance saddles and snaffle.

Experience: Advanced riders with a lot of trail experiences and safety in all gaits, including easy seat! You will ride approx. 5 hours a day. You should also be able to handle more spirited horses. There are particularly long gallops on the beach. Riding distances between 30 and 40 km per day. Maximum rider weight: 80 kg!

Horses: Arabians, Berbers and crosses of both breeds. You ride mares and geldings.
