Besides wonderful rides and day rides, the riding centre also offers lessons for beginners and advanced riders. A highlight is also swimming with the horses. Lonely beaches invite you to ride, as do the winding paths through the pine forest and the mountains that rise not far from the coast. Besides horse riding, there are many other activities on offer, such as cycling, bus trips, boat trips, swimming in the pool and the sea, massages, spa with whirlpool and sauna, etc. Or take a walk to the lagoon of Sena Arrubia, where you can enjoy the view of the Sinis Peninsula and meet flamingos.
In the well-kept hotel resort on the Gulf of Oristano you have all the amenities for a riding and active holiday at your disposal. Several restaurants and bars offer the best places to stop for refreshments in the evening.

Itinerary

Riding programme: The riding farm offers both beginners and advanced riders an unforgettable riding holiday: beginners receive lunge lessons, individual and group lessons and undertake their first comfortable rides through the pine forest and along the beach. Advanced riders can enjoy rides from one hour up to day rides in the mountains. The landscape is unique and extremely varied: white sandy beaches on the turquoise sea are set against the wild coast, some of which rise directly from the beach. In the valley there is a picturesque pine forest, which is pleasantly shady in summer. In the mountains the typical maquis predominates, a Mediterranean bush landscape with strawberry trees, myrtle, juniper, broom etc. Especially in spring, numerous bushes and flowers blossom. Some meadows form a sea of yellow daisies. In the mountains, narrow paths alternate with wide forest paths, so that you can enjoy beautiful trot and gallop courses again and again. On the beach you will find picturesque bays, lagoons and fishing villages. Flamingos and numerous other water birds live here.
Riding package children 10 units: For small children up to approx. 9 years. A total of 10 lessons in the saddle (approx. 20 minutes each) plus cleaning etc.

Riding package adults 10 units: For beginners we offer lunging and group lessons on the riding ground, but also first rides through the shady pine forest and along the beach. Children can participate in one-hour rides.
Advanced riders explore the beach, pine woods and the mountainous hinterland on shorter or longer rides, just as they please. Day rides are also possible, e.g. through a wetland with many pools to the romantic fishing village of Marceddì, through the pine trees to the picturesque Sena Arrubia lagoon with its flamingos or through the 80 ha pine forest from Arborea to the beach. Also worth seeing are the bent trees, which grow crooked by the constant wind. You can explore the typical maquis landscape with blooming bushes and flowers on a horseback ride in the hills of the Costa Verde. Between the bushes you will discover rocks, abandoned stone houses and old stone walls. Sheep and horses graze on the beautiful pastures. From the green hills the view of the deep blue coast becomes clear again and again.
Also moonlight rides and sunrise rides are offered, especially in summer.

Costa Verde Trekking: On four day rides you explore the typical maquis landscape with cork oaks, flowering bushes and flowers in the hills of the Costa Verde. Between the bushes you will discover rocks, abandoned stone houses and old stone walls. Sheep and horses graze on the idyllic pastures. From the green hills the view of the deep blue coastline is always open. You will stay overnight in the rider hotel and have a short transfer in the morning and evening. The horses stay in a paddock on the way. In between you enjoy your lunch picnic in the open air. Children from the age of 14 can participate in the trekking.Other activities: There are many other activities available at the resort and in the immediate vicinity: Tennis, football, archery, beach volleyball, cycling, boat trips, swimming (sea/pool) and other water sports. The Gulf of Oristano is particularly warm due to its sheltered position and low water. One of the best golf courses in Sardinia (18 holes) is very close by.
About twice a week an open Italian language course is offered for those who want to have a taste of it. Special language courses on request.

Wellness: The spa area with sauna, steam bath, whirlpools and an extensive range of massages and treatments (e.g. algae therapy) provides relaxation. Admission and treatments are payable on site.

Excursion possibilities: We recommend a rental car for excursions to the numerous other bays on the west coast as well as to historical sights and the hinterland. These can also be rented by the day at the hotel. If you don´t want to drive yourself, you can take advantage of organised excursions by minibus.

Accomodation
The resort on the west coast is idyllically embedded in a huge private pine forest that extends to the beach. In addition to the guest houses, the resort has its own private beach as well as two swimming pools, a wellness area, restaurants and bars and of course the riding stable with saloon.
You will stay in double rooms with bathrooms, spread over three stylish guest houses. The rooms offer you every comfort: private bathroom (shower or bathtub), hairdryer, telephone, TV, safe (room/reception), air conditioning, heating and refrigerator. An extra bed is available in all rooms and there are also some double rooms with connecting door, ideal for families.

Saddle & Tack: English and Western saddles and bridles.

Experience: For beginners and advanced riders. Longer rides, bathing with horse and minitrekking only for advanced riders.

Horses: Approx. 40 horses of different breeds: Anglo-Arab, Western horses, Haflinger and Shetland ponies for children. English and Western riding.
