Let your soul dangle in the midst of the beautiful Tuscan countryside - experience and enjoy the old tradition of Tuscan hospitality. In the heart of classic Tuscany, only 25 km from Florence, the lovingly managed farm of the Italian family is situated on a 110 ha mountainous area. Scattered far and wide over the mountainous terrain are nine spacious apartments with room for 2-11 guests each. Meals are taken either in the historic wine cellar with restaurant or on the large sun terrace overlooking the olive groves. There is also a large swimming pool, a playground and many comfortable outdoor seating areas. A small village with pizzeria and supermarket is within walking distance. Rufina is about 5 km further down the valley.
Besides horses there are many other animals living on the farm, including chickens, geese, pigs and sheep. Often there are also offspring, not only for the pleasure of the little guests. Even the piglets enjoy a life outdoors and wallow in the mud with pleasure. So the farm (one of the oldest agriturismo in Italy) is a wellness oasis for everyone! The farm´s own products such as cheese, pickled vegetables, ham and of course wine and olive oil can be found in the meals. There is also a farm shop and when the olive harvest is in progress you can watch the oil being extracted.
Vineyards, woods, castles, palaces and farms invite you to visit on horseback or on foot. Discover the great sights of Tuscany, art and culture or just lazing around the pool - just as you like. Nearby historic cities include Florence, San Gimignano and Siena. Also very attractive: a visit to a famous winery followed by a wine tasting.

Riding program:
A perfect riding holiday for the whole family. Even for beginners there are suitable horses for relaxed rides in the green mountains, dominated by cypresses, broom bushes, olive groves, vines and rustic forests.
In spring, bushes and meadows bloom particularly beautifully: lush yellow broom, daisies, vetches and poppies adorn the roadsides and meadows. Day rides with saddlebag picnic are also possible.
Western riding lessons for beginners and advanced riders in German or English are offered at the riding ground. The rides are individually adapted to your riding experience and wishes.
The exact programme will be arranged on site.
Riding packages with 8, 10 or 12 hours are available. You can choose between riding lessons and rides. However, one riding lesson is required for rides. The 12 hour programme also includes a 5 hour day ride.
For smaller children there are pony tours through the surrounding olive groves.

The rustic and comfortable apartments are furnished in the typical Tuscan country house style. They are equipped with a kitchen, a living room, one to four bedrooms, garden sitting area or terrace and a wonderful view over the picturesque landscape. A grill is also part of the equipment.
Apartments for up to 11 persons are available. The smaller apartments for 2 persons are approx. 37 square meters, the larger apartments for 4 persons are at least 75 square meters. For large families and groups there are apartments with up to 140 sqm.
Catering:
The sunny location provides the owners with a widely praised, particularly good extra virgin olive oil. The products from our own organic farming are combined to create tasty Tuscan menus, wine (Chianti Ruffino) from our own vineyards completes the culinary experience - let us spoil you!
You can add breakfast and dinner. In the morning you can enjoy an Italian breakfast buffet (rather sweet), in the evening traditional recipes of the region are in the foreground. You will be spoiled with traditional Tuscan dishes and a barbecue and a real wood oven pizza are not to be missed. Included are six dinners (wine extra), on Thursday the kitchen is closed. If the weather is fine, you are welcome to sit on the large sun terrace in the olive groves, otherwise you can enjoy your meals in the rustic vaulted cellar. In the farm shop you can buy products from our own production.
