Majestically situated on 350 acres of land in Vermont´s lush green mountains with sweeping views of an unspoiled mountain lake and the vast expanse of the National Forest, the Green Mountain Getaway offers an endless variety of outdoor activities. Ideal for couples and families; there is something for everybody. The main house has a spacious lobby, an open fireplace and lots of antiques. The guest rooms are kept in the tradition of mountain huts with panoramic views. For larger groups we offer chalets and log cabins. The Classic Lodge rooms are comfortably furnished in the style of a mountain lodge. Various extra beds are possible here, depending on your needs. All rooms have their own bathroom with bathtub or walk-in shower, cable TV and a seating area, and some also have a desk. The rooms offer a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains and the lake or of the green pastures, where the riders pass every now and then. Luxury rooms and suites are available at an additional cost. Meals The resort offers elaborate new American cuisine in the refined ambience of an old mountain hut. The kitchen team stands out with its innovative cuisine using fresh, regional products.
