Welcome to Hill Country, a vast area in the heart of Texas!
Amidst the beautiful Texas Hill countryside near Banderas, this horse farm offers first class accommodation and quality riding programs, whether it be horseback riding or riding lessons. You can expect a western riding holiday at the highest level. Horses, riding instructors, accommodation and food are of first class quality.
Reiseverlauf
Wide flower meadows, wooded hills and deep river valleys invite you to take wonderful rides. The network of bridle paths in Hill Country covers about 60 km, so there is no lack of variety. In addition to the daily rides, the riding centre offers Western riding lessons (Reining, Cutting, Horsemanship) on well-trained quarter horses. The lessons can be booked as a package for at least 3 days (extra charge). Rides and special riding programs (Western Horsemanship, classical riding, Reining, Cutting and Combined Training) in individual or group lessons are offered every day.
The in-house Quarter Horses are available for rides, lessons and horsemanship courses.
The riding lessons are given in western and English riding style.
Important elements are the trust and harmony between rider and horse, as well as a good balance and fine assistance. Chief Riding Instructor Dianne Tobin has over 30 years experience in horse training, from breaking in to correction. She has also been successful in numerous tournaments (e.g. Pleasure, Horsemanship). Her goal is perfect communication with the horse.
Other activities on the farm: Treat yourself to our spa service in your own rooms. It is the perfect end to a long day (bookable on site).
