And for the cowboy in you, rounding up the cattle at Team Penning gives you an impression of the daily ranch work and is great fun on top of it all! Afterwards you can relax at the pool. The ranch is suitable for families with children, for couples as well as for singles who would like to meet new people. Within a few hours you will make new friends and feel part of the family. Itinerary

Riding program:
The ranch has one of the largest herds of horses in Arizona. Here you are guaranteed to find the right horse for everyone. So experienced horse owners as well as absolute beginners get the right horse. If necessary, the experienced wranglers will help you to overcome any fears and to gain confidence in your partner horse. The goal is a good cooperation between horse and rider. From the age of 8 years on, children can also take part in the longer and faster rides. Children from 5 years on take slower rides.

These rides are distinguished at the White Stallion Ranch:
Mountain Rides: Exciting and beautiful. On steep and stony mountain trails you climb the surrounding mountains and enjoy fantastic views!
Slow Rides: Slow and relaxed at a walking pace on horseback. Enjoy the beautiful desert landscape of Arizona.
Fast Rides: Galloping through the desert - that´s great fun and exciting! Experienced riders love these rides over beautiful sandy trails. Less experienced riders learn the skills on site to be able to participate in these rides as well. (Saturdays not available).
All Day Rides: This could be the best ride of your life! Guests who feel safe during the fast ride will spend about 8 hours in the saddle and cover 30-40 km. Lunch will be served en route. The highlights during this day ride are Saguaro National Park, Box Canyon and the Indian characters you will discover along the way. Breakfast Rides: Saddle up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast on the way. Blueberry pancakes have never tasted so good!
Lessons: Guests are grouped together according to riding experience and receive instructive lessons. Private lessons are also possible. All riding activities are included in the price except for the lessons. These cost an extra charge.
Team Cattle Penning: Definitely one of the biggest attractions at the ranch! Two to three times a week guests have the opportunity to practice working with cattle from horseback on the riding ground. Experienced riders love it. If you are a beginner, give yourself a few days and you are ready.
Hay cart rides: On a horse-drawn cart you will drive to a picnic area in the desert. From here you have a magnificent view of the Panther and Safford Mountains. This is a popular activity among non-riders.
Rodeo: The Saturday afternoon rodeo has a tradition of over 60 years. The Rancher family has been rodeoing since childhood and now the third generation is trying this sport. Watch some of the wranglers, family members and friends at various competitions. During your stay you can choose freely from the riding offers, so everybody can ride as much as he wants. Sundays are free for riding.

Ranch program:
Hiking: Every week several guided hikes are offered. From a simple, informative Nature Walk to a challenging hike to the top of Panther Peak in Saguaro National Park. Or you can accompany the hiking guide to the Indian characters.
Entertainment: On various evenings there is an entertainment program after dinner. A moonlit campfire with a cowboy singing old songs, an astronomy show with large telescopes, line dancing lessons, natural history programs, cowboy poems, a lasso show by a professional and many other entertaining and educational programs.

Accompanying non-riders can also explore the area on horseback or take advantage of the many facilities on offer, including a large pool with sunbeds, rest area, games room, multi-function court for basketball, tennis, volleyball, bar, reading corner, hot tub.
There are also many possibilities for leisure activities in the surrounding area: museums such as the Desert Museum, the city of Tucson or hiking tours. Accomodation

On the ranch there are a total of 32 rooms available to guests. All rooms have air conditioning, private bathroom, two rooms have only shower, the rest have shower and bath. Most rooms have a double bed and a single bed. Deluxe suites have an open fireplace, whirlpool bath, king-size bed. Washing machine and dryer are available to guests. In all rooms are available: safe, refrigerator, hair dryer, alarm clock, WLAN, bathrobe.
